The mythical creatures surround a precision carved mother of pearl centerpiece featuring a three-dimensional sterling silver representation of the Chinese character for ‘dragon’. As well as the inscriptions ‘YEAR OF THE DRAGON’, the reverse includes a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary. Also included is the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date.
