An individually numbered limited edition Medal Cover investigating the life and times of a literary crime-cracking icon.

This souvenir contains the full set of Miniature Sheet stamps cancelled with a special edition postmark featuring Crowborough, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s home for 23 years.

The postmark’s ‘S’ and ‘H’ symbols are taken from the alphabet in The Adventure of the Dancing Men, a Holmes mystery that the author rated as among his best.

The cupro-nickel medal illustrates “An interesting and unusual case” – a classic quote from Sherlock himself in one of Doyle’s iconic tales, ‘The Adventure if the Dancing Men’.

The reverse side of the medal features Holmes’s famous London address of 221B Baker Street.
