At the center of the reverse design is a colour hologram - the first on an Australian coin. Depending on the angle of view, two separate images are visible. One depicts the Federation Rotunda while the other is a map of Australia showing the States and Territories in different colours.  Being the first Australian coin to feature a holographic design and a mintage of 10,000 this coin sold out extremely fast after issue back in 2001.
